Woodland Hollows
Moss Mirror
Handmade · One of a piece · Offered by private inquiry
Glass, moss, hydrangea, and woodland finds, set by hand.
Most mirrors simply give a room back to itself. This one keeps a little forest at the edge of the glass.
Moss, hydrangea, and small woodland finds sit in the frame, so the looking-glass feels found rather than installed. It was made to hang on a wall that wants both a reflection and quieter company.
The piece is handmade. The moss and hydrangea will not appear again in the same way, and that is part of why it exists.
It belongs in a hallway, a bedroom, or a corner that currently does too little. It still works as a mirror. The woodland stays with the room for the rest of the day.
Photographed in the studio with a curious visitor, who understood the assignment.
Made by hand, for a wall that wants hush as much as light.
Each piece is one of a kind. If this, or something close, belongs in a room (or garden) you are making, write to the studio. Similar work can be made by arrangement.
